A warm welcome awaits you at Pendle Gallery by the Weir in Barrowford Park. Opened in November 2023, it is the perfect space and location for viewing my work - much of which is inspired by the surrounding landscape. On show are original paintings, prints and cards capturing atmospheric scenes from the locality as well as from the Lake District and Scotland. Also on show are pieces that I would describe as 'moodscapes' - evocative pieces painted from memory and imagination, and works combining my images with my wife's haunting poetry. My hope is that anyone visiting the gallery feels welcomed, enjoys the experience and goes away having received a little food for the soul. Close by is the Pendle Heritage Centre serving delicious food in the cafe and incorporating a Pendle Heritage Museum, walled garden and beautiful 18th century cruck barn. So all round, it is a great place to visit for the day. I look forward to seeing some of you soon!
