I often listen to music whilst I paint, ranging from the quiet and spacious to the loud and aggressive. One day as I was listening to music by Brian Eno and painting an abstract, it occurred to me that I was painting a Soundscape - a piece which seemed to reflect the music. It had a large area of dark, out of which emerged a glowing form - just as the music had low key background 'space' out of which emerged occasional sound forms. Having coined the term, I read a small passage about the music in which Brian Eno described his music as Soundscapes. So Here are some of my first soundscapes.
